beauty as fashion statement

when I started out in photography, I had background in fashion design and painting but my interest was mainly artistic photography. I was fascinated by the beauty of women and used to take portraits, which helped me develop a good sense of lighting. as I flipped through fashion magazines I soon began to realize that there was something missing in my photography. I have developed a minimal approach to lighting and beauty. the concept of beauty photography has been introduced by the fashion industry to market beauty products and cosmetics. I work with make up artists and hair stylist, and we try to visualize a concept and combine our creative efforts to make it unique.
